When restoring my  photos the tools I used the most were "mirror" and "blend" so I could over up the smudges and focused areas that weren't important. I was also able to bring back the contrast to the faded areas by specifically giving certain area more contrast. I was mostly successful in my restoration?  There's a difference between the before and after notices mostly throughout the background switch made the biggest difference because i spend most time on them trying to clear them up and make them un-rustic. I did enjoy this process because it made me realize at I would use these tectnices if I ever needed to with pictures of my own.
